Rules and regulations of modern town planning raise architects and designers in fairly stringent requirements: limited space for build size, canons and aesthetic standards of development, customer preferences to the erected home, gardening area and more. Such as these restrictions on the one hand and the talent of the architect on the other hand give rise to a completely unique works of the building industry. An example is a Villa Ronde built on the Pacific coast of Japan by CielRougeCreation under the architect Henri Gueydan. For the first time works of this famous architect appeared in Sweden and France about twenty years ago and now Geydan turned his attention to Southeast Asia.

Luxury villa includes a private museum with artifacts of Japanese culture, guest rooms and living area of owners of this complex. The landscape of the building plot has an excellent access to the sea. The original round shape of the building is necessary not only for aesthetic experience. Thus, the architect implemented the idea that is the best to resist the strong typhoons winds characteristic of the Pacific coast. The roof covered by one foot of soil is used as a loan and creates a harmony with nature.

Living rooms surround the villa’s interior courtyard around the perimeter of the building creating warmth and comfort. The exterior walls are made of glass sliding panels which allow increasing the living space of each room. To create privacy each glass panel has roller blinds, which are controlled by a «smart house» automatic system. This system regulates levels of light of each room within a computer program designed into by its owners.

Free layout of the living space of the villa Ronde is created with the help of sliding panels of the indoor walls. Moving these lightweight walls you can create one large room around the courtyard of the villa. Window openings in some parts of the house have been formed in the shape of round holes that serve as windows on the side walls and on the roof. The location of these windows is designed as to ensure sufficient ventilation of residential space in order to minimize energy expenses.

Furniture collection housed in a villa reflects the idea of the exterior – rounded tables and chairs are connected with smooth surfaces of colorful sofas. The floors in all areas of the house are made of light-colored wood flooring. Furniture in the bedrooms was made at the same colors.

The pool area has a few shower rooms, a sauna and a room for relaxation. The floors of the house are covered with gray marble.

It must be specially noted about the roof. For implementation of all the plans of the architect the firm led by Japan’s best-known landscape artist Kazuyuki Ishihara was invited. The entire roof is covered with 30 cm of earth and lush grass laid on a specially prepared surface of the roof. This technology also allowed to plant small trees and shrubs on the roof. A built-in watering system keeps it healthy and growing.
